Experience a long weekend with Molly Melhuish starting Friday and ending Monday.  The retreat includes 8 classes and a walk with meditation, with accommodation and breakfast provided.

Set in the majestic French Cognac countryside of the Charente Maritime with easy access to Cognac, Bordeaux, Jonzac and La Rochelle, our retreat centre offers you a truly tranquil respite from everyday living: fabulous food, massage, meditation and yoga classes for everyone.

There is a sitting room for relaxing, a formal dining room and a fully equipped kitchen.  We offer a swimming pool, exercise facilities and also a myriad of quiet spaces for total relaxation.  All the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and have linen and both bath and separate pool towels.  Basic toiletries are provided and toilet roll.  The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, pans and the necessary linen.  Our aim is for you to experience a feeling of total comfort and ease as you enjoy the many delights of Chez Vallée and perhaps take the opportunity to explore the vineyards and the local area.

I am delighted to announce that this break also includes a complimentary Introduction to Ayurveda with Amanda Graham.

Ayurveda is the medicinal sister of Yoga.

With a little knowledge of this ancient system you can become aware of the uniqueness of your body, the elements that dominate, the way our bodies react to our daily routines, seasonal routines and the different times of our lives in terms of health and dis-ease. Your eating, sleeping, exercise times and seasonal routines may all affect your health in ways you haven't considered. You may even need to adjust the type of yoga you practise.

Amanda will introduce you to Ayurveda giving you a little 'food for thought' about how you are helping or hindering your whole body.

Amanda is a Counselling Psychologist, Yoga teacher and Ayurvedic Practitioner. She trained with an Ayurvedic doctor in Malaysia and India over a period of 3 years. She also studied at the AyurPura College in London.
