I am delighted to announce that this break also includes a complimentary Introduction to Ayurveda with Amanda Graham.
Ayurveda is the medicinal sister of Yoga.
With a little knowledge of this ancient system you can become aware of the uniqueness of your body, the elements that dominate, the way our bodies react to our daily routines, seasonal routines and the different times of our lives in terms of health and dis-ease. Your eating, sleeping, exercise times and seasonal routines may all affect your health in ways you haven't considered. You may even need to adjust the type of yoga you practise.
Amanda will introduce you to Ayurveda giving you a little 'food for thought' about how you are helping or hindering your whole body.
Amanda is a Counselling Psychologist, Yoga teacher and Ayurvedic Practitioner. She trained with an Ayurvedic doctor in Malaysia and India over a period of 3 years. She also studied at the AyurPura College in London.
