A slow and deeply releasing style of yoga. 

In contrast to other practices, poses are held for 5 minutes or more and are predominantly floor-based using props to support the body and allow for a gentle release.

As Yin yoga typically focuses on the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis and lower spine, anyone who sits all day, has low back pain or tight hips, this practice will a great cross training to your daily life.  Yin Yoga is also great for reducing stress in the body and mind. Holding poses without distraction for several minutes teaches us to relax. We begin to release tension that is deeply ingrained in our muscles.

Yin Yoga Classes are held on a Friday and Sunday evening 7-8 pm.  10 pounds per class.  Please email to book your place.
